Knights of Columbus 8025                                                                      07/08

The Knights of Columbus 8025 are having their 4th Annual Golf Tournament in support of the Sergeant Colton Levi Derr Foundation, which assists veterans and their families with PTSD support, training and any other resources that they may need. This event will be on July 8th at the Prairie Ridge Golf Course located at Ellsworth Airforce Base. They are seeking community support in the form of donations for prizes, hole sponsors and 4-person teams. Hole sponsorship is $250 and all donations are towards a non-profit organization. All money raised will go to the Colton Derr Foundation. Tournament starts at 9am with 4-man teams and is $75 per golfer. Lunch will be served after the tournament. Catholic Social Services is holding ‘The QPR’ (Question, Persuade, Refer) mission to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. The signs of crisis are all around us. They believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the lives of those around them. This presentation on July 9th and Aug. 13th from 1-3pm at Catholic Social Services building (529 Kansas City Street, Rapid City SD). This two hour presentation fulfills the state’s requirement for educators’ suicide prevention. Training is free to the public. If you would like to be certified it’s a $10 fee if it is required.
